  1. I'm Interested in this Topic. Especially to see what the fix is... So did you replace and re-code injectors 3 &4?
  2. That is very impressive! As mentioned numerous times before on this site, the 1.6cr 5speed manual has terribly spaced gear ratios... 😭. I would probably get a 2.0 cr elegance or VRS next if the opportunity arises.
  3. I"m not quite sure whether the emissions fix was done on my car although I'm inclined to think not? How would I find this out? Can I enter the VIN into a database to check?
  4. I've monitored the Fuel economy on my 2013 1.6CR manual 5 speed estate since I got it earlier this year. Without delving into figures too much, from my 160 mile commute each day I am consistently seeing between 620 and 650miles per tankful. The MFD. (Yes I know you shouldn't take it as Gospel) regularly reads Mid 70s, with an all time best of 84.5mpg on a long 55mph stint on the M4. Very impressed.
  5. Oh. Sorry I didn't supply all of the info you required. Try this old thread then. Hopefully it should have some further detail for you. I've just picked up an early 2013 Octy and I haven't actually checked whether my car has this function. I will check this evening.
  6. Hi there Here is a link to the installation method: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=octavia+3+door+lights&docid=608016551079248593&mid=6F473CE49E937662D7886F473CE49E937662D788&view=detail&FORM=VIRE And here is one of the many links to the Parts - Superskoda (This is a link to the Non- Batman, Logo Shining on the floor) Lights). http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-III/Octavia-III-MEGA-POWER-LED-safety-door-lights-with-GHOST-light-OCTAVIA-WHITE I'm pretty sure that you can get similar, of varying quality on ebay, Aliexpress etc. Hope this helps.
  7. That little amp is nuts! I've seen some of the reviews on the M5 DSK Mk2, matchbox sized miracle and I'll be watching this thread with great interest🙂
  8. 6 Years down the line and this post is absolutely spot on!
  9. I'll be really interested to see how this goes. The parts aspect of the install doesn't look too daunting, but adaptor looms, Possible new BCM, AFS Module, follwed by some hellish coding looks to be a nightmare from what I've seen. It'll also be good to see what a breakdown of your costs looks like. Even the headlight units (UK), complete with bulbs & ballasts etc appear to be to be very expensive. Look forward to write up when youre done.
  10. Hi. Not sure whether your Friend has already taken the plunge, but here's my (very humble) opinion. Pretty certain not everyone will agree. Both 2.0 but the Burgundy one is the 170BHP DSG vs the Black 140BHP Manual. (Fuel economy, Tax rate, insurance etc). For me both look immaculate, (hard to tell unless you see them up close), with similar spec, The Black one takes the Win for me. (Slightly lower mileage, slightly lower price + newer plate). I guess it will boil down to whether or not your friend values DSG and more power/poke over economy lower emissions, lower tax and lower insurance costs. Hope he finds what he wants. Regards.
  11. Hi there. I'm interested in these please. Based in London so happy to meet up. Thanks
  12. Hey Chris. Thanks for posting this. I'm following your thread. After owning 4 xS1 and S2 Octavias I've moved onto a Superb 2 Greenline. These cars are ridiculous Value for Money (in a good way). Anyway. Your car is looking great from what I can see. Mine needs a good wash, clay and detail also. I've done a wash and polish so far, but need to set aside a whole day or more to go the whole hog. My wheels are scuffed to hell, so they need some help... Regarding your rear window sourrounds you're not alone.. I thought I was doing something wrong until I read your thread and read this one too.. Question: What is yours like around the rear numberplate light area? Mine has some surface rust which I.m not happy about. Many other Superb owners have suffered the same. None of my Octavias suffered from Tailgate rust , so what's that all about? Looking forward to your updates & might post some pics of mine once it's cleaner and given so TLC.. Cheers. Gordon.
  13. Thank you so much the both both of you. Very much appreciated : ) !
  14. Thanks MK2 Octavia. I may have to do that next weekend. I do remember seeing the name of them on this forum at some time in the recent past. but I didn't have the MK2 then, so it wasn't relevant. I'll certainly follow up on what you suggested, so thanks. In the meantime I've pasted a pic of the wheel in question.
  15. Hi All. I have recently purchased a MK2 L&K 2.0TDI Estate after my faithful MK1 L&K Estate was written off. I'm looking to replace one of the alloy wheels, so I'm wondering whether anyone can help me with the Alloy wheel name, or Part code, Or better still, if anyone knows where a used single or even a pair are available? PS. they are the 9 'Thin' spoke alloys, not the earlier L&K 6 spoke type. Thanks in advance if you can help
  16. They look good to my eyes.... Similar to the Leather/Alcantara combination. GLWTS.

  20. Hi there. I think that I may have a similar problem on my L+K. I've looked on these forums, and this one (below) looks to be quite useful... http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/277098-xenons-self-levelling-problem/?hl=%2Bxenon+%2Blights+%2Bself+%2Blevelling
  21. Hi there. I'll take these please! Could you please PM me with your payment details/preference. Thank you.
  22. Hi there. Yes. I do still have them. The rear is just missing the lap belt part, that's all. I can try and get some more pics if you want as they're out of the car now. Just need the space to be honest. Thanks
