Bye bye cheap tacky badges...

Featured Replies

I personally think that the standard fabia & vrs badges look very cheap and tacky, really ruining the **** end. So i whipped them off as part of todays cleaning sesh in the shade.

Looks much better i reckon! Now i just need to get the front grille colour coded and lower it then i should be a bit happier with how it looks.

Replace rear centre badge with VRS badge...looks better imo

I did wonder about that, but i'm not sure! Think it looks much more OE like this, just like the BMWs and audis that have had the debadge option from factory.

Know what you mean, did the VRS badge to my old vrs and it did look good, but looks good like that as well. Just each to their own to be honest.

I'd take mine off but then I'd be afraid everyone wouldn't know I'm driving a vRS!! I am toying with alternate vRS badges tho just to be different.

I'd say only one in 1000 motorists knows what a vRS is anyway, and those that do would know from the deep rear bumper and exhaust anyway ;)

Nice looking mod, makes the back end a lot cleaner.

I thought that BMW/Audi drivers who chose to have the badges removed did so because they've bought the base model 1.8 and wanted to hide it, or am I being too cynical?

That is often the case, although i often see 330s etc with no badging, usually on the motorway, think they do it so people don't expect them to be so quick. It's usually 316 and 318s though yeah. As for audis i rarely see debadged ones but i remember looking at it in the options list.

I still think cars look better without them, damn badges!

isn't it because the badges are all options on BMW's :)

It defo freshens up the look of the car.

I de-badged mine then re-badged with the new octy vRS badges. Makes a load of difference IMO

I debadged, re-badged with octy mkII badges, thought it looked tacky, then de-badged again. then Bought fabia vrs ones and have sticked with them

OEM all the way ;)

I've taken the "fabia" off, but left the vRS and Skoda badge on.

But the vRS is coming off asap to keep the back looking clean and simple.

Not fussed if people know if it's a vRS or not.

I've taken just the "FABIA" part off and leaving the rest there.

I removed them from my A3 TDI Sport because they were a pain to clean.

My (secondhand) Fabia came unbadged but with a Fabia VRS sticker in the glove box.... bit odd, but I put it on myself anyway!

I want the badge as seen in the pic below!

no more green...just chrome, looks a lot classier

anyone know where to source a pair of them??

Thats a concept pic only, and they are still green, black and chrome, even on the new superb.

Get some made like the VRS ones

I am trying to find the above mentioned new style logo from quite some time now! If anyone has it (medium or high quality file, I mean), please pm me or send me a copy of it! Pleeeease! :D I will render it and make it suitable for printing wheel center cap badges etc. :)

I de-badged mine, Its has a new fabia badge and a 1.9 sdi badge under it.

230bhp SDI, Its supprises alot of people

car looks good debadged

do you really give a toss whether or not total random strangers know what car you're driving

I removed the fabia and the fabia vrs and replaced the skoda roundel with the black one off the engine cover, then put the fabia vrs bage back on.

Then i swapped the fabia vrs badge for a mark 2 octy vrs badge

Now im going to have the black skoda roundel removed and have the holes filled and painted in a body shop.

I spent too much time messing around with the badges on the back of my car:(

How much fill and sort the holes, thinking of doing this as well.

whts the best/ safest way to take it off with out damaging?
