Good, reasonably queit, great cruiser. very ecenomical!!!! Handles the speed well. IMO

Not quite as stable as something bigger, but certainly good.

Fine in a straight line but can be a bit nervy on fast flowing bends (and I mean high speeds)

Theyre pretty good.

I found fitting a front strut brace and replacing the Michelin Pilots with Toyos made it more stable and reduced road noise significantly.

I get 55mpg sat at 60 over about 20 miles.

They're absolutely brilliant on the motorway (it's where mine spends 90% of it's time...)

Stick it in sixth with the revs around 2k (which is about 70-75 mph on mine) and the engine's near-enough idling yet the turbo's just on the point of spooling up so to overtake all you have to do is put your foot down. None of the "change down and wind it up" nonsense...

Keep your foot down and you'll be 90+ before you realise what's going on!!

Keep it below 110mph, but above 100mph and they are great!

i sit at about 80 to 90 most of time and runs great

Doesn't handle crosswind that well, but I've never driven a car that does.

Mine's fine. I find a journey is very pleasant when cruise control is put on at 70mph. Sure it's slow and everyone else is faster usually, but it makes for an economical, quiet (2200rpm), pleasant drive. Windows down a bit, tunes on, relax, enjoy.

If your after a motorway cruiser i wouldnt pick the fabia.

Quite sporty so suspension is quite harsh.

Also i think the seats are very hard and on long journeys cause a bit of discomfort.

My friend bought a vRS as a motorway cruiser to get back and forward to work, 3 hour journey there. After a month he had piles and the car was sold.

Not a comfy car IMO

It's probably the best small car I've owned at motorway tasks. Comfortable, pretty refined, and if you pick the right tyres - quiet too.

I sit at 80 on cruise and get 50-55MPG over a Manchester-London run (190 miles, 3hr 15 on a good day).

A revised suspension setup does help things at higher speeds [Eibachs+FSDs, RARB] (IMHO )

If you suffer from bladder weakness the Fabia vRS may not be the best choice.

Well not the one with the pale textile seats anyway.

I have to agree - I find the seats to be good. If I'm being picky, some lubar adjustment would be nice.

Often do London in one go, and have done Glasgow from here in the same sitting too.

I know seats and posture etc are a very personal thing; what's good for one, is terrible for another - but no complaints here

I on the other hand think there dreadfull. Soo hard its unbelievable, i used to have a 306 merdian with the half leather seats and oh my god they were sooo comfy, was like a big armchair. i miss that car :(

But its all personal preference though

Sssshhh, the supercar police are listening.

I did close to 1,900 miles over 5 days in mine recently and the only issue was while driving briskly over the "ploughed concrete" roadway in Belgium / The Netherlands with the tyre-pressures too high - noisy doesn't begin to describe what we experienced.

The vRS will seem like distilled refinement compared to your Ka on the motorways mate! I think it will feel a bit more planted in comparison and a lot more solid

Whoever decided to try surfacing high speed roads with concrete should be taken outside and shot. Twice.

How we still have them in this country is beyond me!
