Tarox G88

Featured Replies

Thinking of getting these fitted on the Octy, anybody got them? and any deals out there on them, or has anybody have any reccomendations for similar discs:thumbup:

Steve

I have them on my Fabia, and had them on my tuned Octavia 2 vRS. Awesome discs, almost impossible to warp, they wear well, and most importantly....from my experience, matched with appropriate tarox pads, stop VERY well.

I think they are great :)

So much better over the standard set up!

I got the front & rears because I found a great deal at the time :D

Awesome Gti is probably the best place to start for a price.

Like the look of those:thumbup:, do they rust up like oem ones?

Steve

G88`s are great matched with the "strada" pads.... call Ed at APS, they offer good prices but not sure on delivery

Should by rights put new pads on when you change the discs m8 :( Ferodos will be fine but personally i would put new ones on to match the discs ( they are cheaper than the Ferodos)

How long were they on car?

Steve

hmmm, at a guess about 60k with a hanful of trackdays and daily backroads to work. I would pick them first time every time .

IMHO Awesome and the likes are a little dear, have a search on the net and I think the best I found were under £200, worth giving camskill a call IIRC.

Another vote for them as well.

Have been running DS2500's with them fine.

Took longer to be in with no changing the discs but awesome discs
