Hello everyone

I was pointed in this direction by somebody from the uk-polos.net forum.

I currently have a Polo 6N 1.4 16V but am looking into getting a new Furby vRS in September.

I think I'm going to go for a black one but possibly red. I've not seen many red ones.

Does anybody on here have a red one that they could post up a picture of ?.

What's the suspension like on these cars ?. They look a little high to me :(

I have Eibach springs on my Polo which give a firm ride but excellent handling.

I'm guessing you can get Eibachs for the Fabia as you can get them for the Polo 9N.

I think it will take me a while to get used to the engine as I'm used to a high reving 16valver !. In the Polo you need to be over 5000rpm to get anywhere fast.

Is it true that a REVO remap could see approx 180bhp on these cars ?.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

Welcome to the site

Rooboy has a red vRS - will have a look for some pictures.

Edit : Here's a red one

Thanks Jane

It looks nice in red although my Polo is red so I'm swayed towards the black.

Does anyone have experiences with Brookdene in Watford ?

Just a minor detail, but that's Rooboy's. Door handles are black as standard (not colour-coded unless your car's black ;)). But can get various replacement ones such as the chrome ones Jeff has :)

Hi Chris,

Welcome, The only experience I have of brookdene is the service dept when I was having trouble with the octy, so cant comment on sales. Lets just say they'll proberbly be ok as long as you buy from them. Dont know where you live, but have you considered MKG in Stevenage, my local dealer. They seem to be getting a lot people for servicing who have used brookdene in the past for some reason. Several members on here use MKG, me included and have commented on how good the service is.
