Forge 007 fitted normally

Standard car 53 plate.

Carbonio air filter

Had no problems after 5000 miles.

Slightly better throttle response and a nice sound !

Most likely' date=' unless you or any previous owner happens to have casually mislaid something like a DTA48 mappable ECU under your bonnet.

Watch out for overtaking milk floats, Reliant Rialtos, Saxos, Novas, Escorts etc etc.

are you saying you use a "vent to atmosphere" DV /BOV?

if so then eventually it will fail as it confuses the ecu and throws the mixture out... unless you have done some other "unmentioned" mods.

Turbosmart dual port

DV has been relocated, now fitted between intercooler and inlet manifold.

No problems so far, been running for four months.

no thats not the kit my DV has been relocated between the intercooler and inlet manifold...you cut a section out of the pipe insert a T bar and the DV connect to the T bar..you then run a vacume pipe back to where you OE DV vacume pipe connected...the other two 25mm pipes connected to the OE DV are blcoked up... and the only other mod ive done is a K&N cone air filter...as far as i know no remapping or diffrent chips have not been put in..

Could it be the they have solved the problem of the octy not running a venting to atmosphere DV?

1. HKS SSQV

2. SEAT Leon Cupra 1.8T - 255BHP (K04 turbo, 21 PSI, APR map)

3. No running problems at all - zero, for around 6 months now. The sound is AWESOME!!! Ran with zero problems using K03S and APR map too. Located HKS at back of engine and now relocated at the front just in front of throttle body, runs the same with no problems, never stalled or backfired once, no petrol smell - nothing, just SWEEEET sound and no drop in performance.

I tried the GReddy Type-S and that refused to run in BOV mode at all, cutting out all the time, the HKS SSQV is the one.

For those members like me who don't know what an HKS SSQV is, read this.
