Fitting a Cdplayer into a felicia

Featured Replies

hi there. i have a 1996 skoda felicia and it does not come with all the goodies. e.g power steering electric windows etc etc.. and in the centre console there is a large hole where a radio oughta go.. would fitting a new cd player and wiring speakers be a large job. my brother says it would not be worth the hassle. thanks

Check to see if your wiring harness is still there, "a large white terminal block"

If it is you will have to buy one to match Skoda fitting

If you are on a budget, the best way is to buy a radio cassette with an auxiliary input. You can then plug an MP player in.

I've done 3 cars in less than an hour each time fitting plus wiring 4 speakers, I didn't find it that difficult a job.

It used to be fairly common to put all the wiring, and maybe even the aerial, into even the most basic models, so it may be just a case of installing a head unit and speakers on an existing loom.
