Car novice in the midlands area

Hi guys,

After much abuse from my Dubloving friend... i find myself the owner of a pretty little fabia. Shes called Lissy.

However in the past I have been able it seemed to fix anything with some spark plugs and maybe a new air filter. I look under this bonnet and panik! So here I am, to be educated I hope and keep Lissy looking and running nice and sweet.

Looking forward to becoming less of a "blonde" when it comes to my new toy.

Ah u cant beat a yellow car Davy!!! I almost paid a grand more for an equivalent fabia just because it was yellow. I was unfortunately disuaded by my older and wiser father though

Hahaha no i dont work for Qinetq (unusual as most of malvern does!) I teach in a lovely rural secondary school the other side of worcester in martley.

Am i cute? Dunno you will have to judge that one yourself.

Hi all, I recently ran a ODB II on my car and it’s came up a couple of fault codes, as follows: P20EE Nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor, catalyst, bank 1 - efficiency below threshold Status: Pending Engine control unit P003D(75) Intake camshaft profile control A, bank 1 - stuck on Status: Test failed, Pending, Test failed since last DTC clear, Test not completed during this operation cycle And to add to this, it’s regening every 100 miles and recently went into limp mode with a coil light on the da

Hi all, I'm trying to get at the lower radiator hose in my 2016 Octavia. I've looked on google and found that I should remove the seven t25 screws. 5 on the bumper splash shield and one on each side connected to the fender. The shield seems loose, but it won't come off and I don't want to try and pry it too much as I'm concerned that I'll crack it. Can someone tell me what additional screws, or maybe clips, need to be removed to get this off? many thanks for all info

FOR SALE – 73/100 Registered 1 March 2002 A rare opportunity to purchase one of the remaining 16 Octavia WRC 100 Edition cars left in the UK. 73/100 was fully restored by Des Jansen (delcac on here) during 2015/16/17. Des lived in Kent and he and Pete Drury who owned 66/100 decided to carry out a joint restoration of the two WRCs.
