Stoner .5 of a second ahead of Rossi in this mornings warm up practice (dry), with the next best 1.5 seconds off the pace.

I reckon this is going to be R2 of the Laguna Seca battle with Rossi doing some cruel cruel mental tormenting of Stoner.........a bit of the Rossi/Gibernau mind farking going on.

Still, makes for better racing.

Aagin we see how good you need to be to become a World Champion 7 times.

Pressure got to Casey again because he had to Race and didint get it all his own way. No ifs or buts about it.

Said it all along but there are alot of VERY fast riders out there (Casey included obviously) who can ride A bike fast, Valentino Rossi can/could ride ANYbike fast.

IMHO, he is in a different League, and my opinion isnt just based on the previous 2 Races.

Oh, and it isnt just me who wrote this opinion, History wrote it too.

Yup, tried to pull out a lead, but The Doctor had the speed to stay with him & seemed to be pulling it back just before he lost it.

Definately pushing too hard, seems he didn't want another toe to toe duel.

So it looks like the Stoner of old comes out when someone can put consistant pressure on him.

Although to be fair to him he did admit to it being his fault when Suzi did an interview in the pit lane, & no dummies or toys today. (yet):rofl:

When he wins I join Stoner in spitting dummies and throwing toys and when Rossi loses you lot get the Rossi losing book of feeble excuses out, that's just the way it is:thumbup:

Comon Lance, it comes back to this every time. This is a discussion forum and we can give our thoughts on what happens, they are discussions and not excuses, come on get over it

For the Championship its a pity that Rossi got so many points today. I would have rathered for Stoner - Rossi to be 1 - 2 to make the rest of the year a bit more interesting.

Was looking forward to very interesting race i.e. Laguna Seca 2 - until Stoner took to the kitty litter :O

Rossi's got the mind games on Stoner now - and it's having more effect esp as the Yamaha seems to have been tweaked a bit so it's probs only 20bhp down now.

And, farky, about Rossi being able to ride ANY bike fast :thumbup:
