Just back from Hol's in the Roomster + Eibach pics

Featured Replies

It perfomed perfectly, fully loaded for a family of 4 I got everything in the boot with nothing being stowed in the cabin.

The Eibachs and the rear ARB worked really well for some spirited driving around the Ruhr and Hartz area. Even with it being shown little mercy other than a proper warm up and cool down it returned 47.4MPG over nearly 1800 miles (brimming it) There was a lot of high (ish for a fugly tractor :D) speed autobahn work and city driving as well as up and down the box on some of the hills and mountains.

These pics are not that great as I was to busy with the kids and forgot the roomster, but this is what it looks like on Eibachs.

Looking nice mate.

Looks good

Mpg is about the same as mine, usually driven with care ;)

See you have a 'ring sticker, under 10mins?

That looks sweet dropped

Where's that credit card? :rubchin:

I am loving the looks now tbh, the side mouldings on the scout really suit the lowered stance :)

It's still got the same problem Sarah, just not as pronounced as it was so I need to have a chat to you to see what can be done :)

Ok Tony

No worries

Sarah

Now that's a lovely looking Ice Cream van. I likes it!

Looks well Tony, now get for a ride on your bike :)

Awesome......

Looking very nice there. I think the picture of the Roomy next to the Merc is crying out for a caption competition :)

"Mein Gott, I know ve lost both vars, but a Britisch invasion powered by Czech-mobiles, der EU scheisse hass gone too far!!!"

Hey Mr Fluff!

Just great looking car! I've been thinking diesel-Rooster Scout in Candy White... So are your wheels 205/40R17?

I've never seen a black Scout before, it looks nice!

Yes: they are 17s (I happen to know) ......

..... but surely 'Candy White' in Finland - you'll never see it in the snow. :D How about Polar Blue?

Looks good Tony, the more I see the more I consider.....

Well it works perfectly for me mate :) I am still lusting after another petrol motor :) The Roomster is a keeper for the family but maybe once I have some cash after selling / buying in the US (or just selling) I am going to go for a "weekender" ......

Glad you enjoyed your hols Tony

I'm not the biggest Roomster fan, but that's looking good Tony  - a much improved stance and those wheels suit is 100%. the contrast of the grey panelling also works against the black paintwork.

The German - I think the Devil's just pulled in for a rest stop, looking at the Merc's plate  :D (red tie as well ;))

Cheers,

Steve

The Merc may have The Number Of The Beast, but Fluffmeister's Roomy has the looks :D

A Roomy shouldn't look that good! Certainly a very nice family hack you've got there Tony!
