Soon to be a Skoda owner !

Featured Replies

Hi all ,

I just ordered a Fabia vRS in black from my local Skoda dealer. ( Wings of Peterborough ). I was just wondering if there is anything I should look out for when I take delivery ?

Some posts have mentioned about checking the oil regularly in the first few thousand miles. Is there any particular oil I should use ? ( first time diesel owner )

Also , I have heard that because of the increasing popularity of the vRS model a price increase is likely very soon. Has anyone else picked this up ?

If there's a price increase, I better get my finger out & order mine!

The PD TDI engine can use a bit of oil when new. I would check the level every now & again. The oil spec is 505.01 from any VAG dealer.

Is it just me or is the PD100 a bit of a dying breed, with all these vRS' being bought?

Well I still have mine, maybe we should start a list of PD100 owners on this site?
