i did see it on your site stu thats why i thought id ask.

To be fair I don't see the point in doing it with fogs and it's very distracting coming towards a car doing that (Seen it on mercs).

Much better was the citroen DS and I assume now others method of swivelling the main bulbs in the light housing or indeed the whole lamp.

but the main lights do that to in the video above.

Yes, but yours couldn't even if they wanted to. They're of a different construction.

i know mine cant move, just wanted to know what cornering lights were. might have a look at seeing if the fog lights can be done, but feel as stu has said that it probably cant.

I still think using the fog shouldn't be legal as it really is distracting for other drivers.

So apart from hooking up your car to VAG-Com, there is no way else to check? I got a MY2007, would this even be a possibility?

IIRC I thought the cornering lights only functioned at very low speeds...Ie to help with car parks etc...not for go round bends on the roads.

Would this be a feature on mine Stu?

Its a late 07...

I depends if you have the correct controller. I have it on mine which is Aug/Sept 07 build.

doubt it would be on mine as its a 55 :(

My June 07 vRS has the wrong controller for this, no Byte 23.

Shame!!

So, can the controller be changed? lol

Steve

Mine was Jan 2007...so pretty sceptical about mine. So who is round the manchester area to get this checked out ;) ...won't be for a while as working down south with no access to my car! :(

Yes it can be changed.

oooh how do you change as my code is almost identical except it ends in E rather than J

Carl

When you lower the drivers side knee panel it is the unit you see under there on the right handside of the steering column.

ok that helps :confused::rolleyes::D

I take it you take that out and replace with a new one? Any Idea how much it is for one.

Carl:thumbup:

It comes out quite easily, it has a fair few plugs etc in it but wouldn't take long to change. You'd need to code a new one then to match your car.

Dunno what sort of money they'd be. Parts catalogue is suggesting quite expensive.

Sod that ill use one of my many torches instead :D. Ive never had it so i wont miss it.

Does this actually work on the vRS? Fogs and all?
