Yes, this is true - they've been talking about it on here since August..

No options apart from dealer extras. They're already built and sitting in Grimsby.

A couple of pics from the brochure.

I think I like the seats.

Indeed. Silly me

Also says in the brochure that its not available with options.

Me too, but still having trouble getting over the halfords special wheels tho...

Only if they are 'dealer fit'!

Dislike the wheels think they look cheap, seats look excellent however

So we're still no clearer whether the LE has the 'new' interior or not then? everyone seems to be changing their colours so frequently, I can't keep up.

Sorry to keep harping on, but did the one you pdi'd today have the new mirrors?

no new mirrors, just normal 08 vrs spec.

Also not keen on wheels but those seats look the business

Nope, don't like the wheels and definitely don't like the seats on the 500 model. I do like the leather upgrade ones in the "options" brochure that came with my new Vrs though and I'm gutted that the 2009 car is available with 200ps and dsg - I was only offered the 170...still blindingly quick though !

Proabaly going to sound stupid - but are vRS calipers usually green, or can they be red?

You're a bit behind the times. ;)

vRS callipers were green up to 2006 MY and from 2007 MY onward they have been Red.

The brochure says that the vRS doesn't have the 2009 EXTERNAL changes, so you'd think from that it should have the 2009 interior.

Thanks barn, just curious as mine are red, yet the pics in another thread showed green calipers on their vRS

The LE - however- says 'based on the existing vRS'

Therefore the 'existing' vRS referred to in the brochure is the 2009 model with the new interior, Bolero radio etc and lower emission engine....

Still not clear then.

I guess I could pick up the phone to a dealer but seeing as many of them didn't even know the LE was on it's way, I'm not expecting them know whether it has the revised dash.

Perhaps some of them are MY08 build, and some of them MY09.

My guess is they are are MY08, but this can be confirmed by a dealer if you are seriously interested I'm sure.

Was in our dealer getting a service on Saturday ...

Thumbed through the brochure for the Limited Edition vRS ... not keen on the wheels and I felt the colour made the car look old fashioned.

They did have a facelifted 'ordinary' Octavia ... looked good. Can't wait to see the facelift on the vRS which they say will arrive in about July.

Good deals going on old model Octy's including the ordinary vRS ... no VAT, 3 free services and a lower APR rate. Obvioulsy keen to sell em as the dealer hardly let me in the door before asking if I was ready for an upgrade yet!

Limited Edition of 500 or so with Full Leather and a number stiched into a tab on the front seats. Just purchased a 07 VRS in Blue from Farmers Nottingham and saw one of these specials in a brochure.

Based on the existing Škoda Octavia vRS, the Limited Edition comes with some notable additions. On the outside it benefits from sleek and stylish anthracite grey metallic paint.

The sports styling continues with 18” ‘Limited Edition’ alloys which highlight the red brake callipers, with red and black ‘Limited Edition’ badging on the rear.

On the inside the Limited Edition has been upgraded with bespoke design black and grey premium grade Italian leather sports seats, each individually stitched with the vRS logo

and tagged with the unique production number of the car.

Standard Equipment (over vRS)

18” ‘Limited Edition’ alloys (225/40 R18 92Y)

Anthracite grey metallic paint previously not available on vRS

Bespoke design ‘Limited Edition’ full leather upholstery

‘Limited Edition’ tag with unique production number of car
