Lexus Clusters? They really not that nice?

Featured Replies

IIRC, the idea of Lexus clusters on a Skoda went down a bomb when brought up a while ago. To me, these lights are one of the easiest exterior mods that can be done to my car to distinguish it from :D other fabias. This is what I'm thinking of getting from Germany:

So, is the MaccyD's boy racer barryboy image really associated with these styles of lights? I'm not after this to be individual on the road, as loads of cars have these lights now, even out the factory. I just want something that's a lot different from OEM. :P

Jay,

I don't mind them too much, and would quite fancy some of the ones with the black carbon type effect for mine.

ATEOTD, if you like them, then go for it - don't worry about others calling you names (you're used to that now, anyway :D)

im guessing from your avatar you have a silver furby..in that case get the black sliver lights on silver cars look pants imo

Joel

I got the chrome version rather than the black for my Furby, because I thought the black would be overpowering on a light coloured car:

The centre cluster has both indicator and reversing lights, and isn't split, so you get an orange doughnut when indicating.

Joel - I think Jason was looking at the silver backed ones. I'd rather have black ones as my fabia is dark green...

(Jay, thanks for the link - something to consider....!!)

Erik at AAT does these (at least for the Octy). He quote me

.....dont forget the fries and curry dip....

I was considering then sometime ago but have decided they

Sorry but I really do not like lexus style lights on cars I really do think that they are very tacky IMHO. Stick with the originals they will be far better quality.

got to agree with alex.

not my cuppa at all, i'm afraid. :thumbdwn:

As long as you have a fog light on the o/s/r (must be 21w red) its legal. But can have one on each side.

Reverse light not required so it dont matter how many you have.

imo i tihkn black for light coloured cars silver for dark, that yellow car shoudl have the black

There are *very* few cars that they suit , and silver furbies are not on that list IMO I'm afraid

Alex is spot on IMHO. It's a personal thing though, you just go ahead Jason you big wussy getting nearer and nearer barry boy type fellah you :D
