A 225 vRS must be a possibility given there's not a lot of difference between the two 1.8Ts. An engine swap must be one of the easiest swaps to do!

Having been in a workshop where three of them have been done they aint a walk in the park, theres alot of work envolved.

Having said that it was a darn site easier than fitting one in that piggin MK4 Polo.

Yes, 225bhp is well within the bounds of possibilty with a remap - but no, Skoda didn't "make" any like that.

And I really feel for you. I'd be gutted if I had to sell mine. Four or five years ago now I had to sell my Rover 220 Coupe Turbo when I was in the financial marshes after I split with my Fiancee, so I know what it's like.

You can't get 225bhp out of an 1.8T with a KO3 by just remapping it unless you spike the power for a millisecond, there i've said it now. :P
