think i will stick with the columbus hard drive for now. plenty big enough !

Bolero doesn`t have hard drive, so....

And iPod Classic (120 GB) was 248 euros, when I bought it a few weeks ago....

And yes, I could have settled for that, and use it via AUX, but it`s so much easier to use iPod from Bolero`s own knobs.

And I also thought, that if I can buy a new car, then I can also buy this MDI without going bankrupt....:thumbup:

ah ha - thought bolero was same as columbus but without the NAV !! sorry !

Now I got my stuff. That MDI-cable is connected to a little black plastic box which includes electronics, and from the little plastic box different wires go to the back of the radio. So there is a little bit of connecting wires before you can plug it to the radio. That actual MDI-cabel is not connected straight to the back of the radio. :tired: Was that unclear enough ?

The costs were 248 euros, and that USB-cabel is not included, but that price included iPod-adapter....

Can you be a bit more specific? I would like to do the same, but my dealer doesn't have a clue.

Simply, that black plastic box has two holes, MDI-cable goes from the glove-box to the black boxe`s one hole, and another wires (whick include ground and +, for example) goes from the other hole of the box to the back of the radio. There are instructions included, so it shouldn`t be very hard.

in your earlier post you said you've used the usb one, does your ipod work on that? Do you use your ipod usb kabel to connect it to the usb port?
