Scout tow points

Featured Replies

Has any Scout owner found a solution to the fact that there is no rear tow rope point accessible on the scout?

I haven't checked myself, but try taking off the black plastic dummy blank on the opposite side of the rear bumper to the exhaust pipe. My money is on it being under there.

Absolutely correct, just remove the plastic flap (it just pulls off) and screw in the tow ring....

Thanks Niall, I has suspected that but didn't want to pull too hard in case I broke something.

And the front?

And the front?

Under the circular cut-out part of the front bumper on the R.H side of the car. Just flip out the plastic part, and you will find a hole to put the tow hook attachment into.

Not on a vRS.....

Anyone else think it's a pity there isn't a second set of exhaust pipes where that flap is?
