For the last few days or so i've been hearing a rattling / knocking noise while driving. I'd been looking in my cubby drawer, in the glovebox everywhere i could think of but couldn't quite work out what it was.

Until today that is.......

It could have been a lot worse.

Imagine it vibrating onto the battery and shorting it out...

Ok - I don't see it :o (I just have a bare battery in my boot so cannot even refer to anything :D)

look to the left and the back of the picture........

you wont see it there either.............:)

middle right yellow..........

Oh come on that's too easy,

Wait untill you leave the oil filler cap off.:eek::rofl::rofl:

So, it true...........you do have a screw loose...........

opel manta 1.9's run for quite a while with no oil in too,and with a breaker bar wound it back whilst oiled and she ran again........just never quite as well:O

I once found out that Talbot Sambas don't run without oil at all, in fact they seize up.:o

back in 1989, i drove all the way home from Silverstone to near Chester with a screwdriver in the roof gutter of my Mini, wasn't jammed in or anything, just resting in the gutter

still got the screwdriver as well

Ha ha! Did this last week, but managed to leave mine in the scuttle panel lol!

I was going to say that the battery cover had gone... but then i remembered that only the early models actually had battery covers

I've done that with a rather expensive mini maglite on a customers car before now. They called up to complain that I could have damaged the car (fai enough) but then kept the naffin torch.

Haha spotted it!! Easy mistake to make though , I'm sure its happened to many.

Hahahaha Nice!

I left my Samsung D600 under the bonnet of my Mk4 Astra Hatch, as i dropped the bonnet shut the bonnet it became entrapped between the wing and the bonnet.

But the ferking thing wouldn't let the catch go, ended up with someone pressing very hard on the bonnet while i pulled the release.

I had an annoying rattle the other day and was looking everywhere:mad:

Then i finally found what it was:)

The parcel shelf wasnt clicked in the holders DOH !!
