pdi,d an octavia vrs today, externally the same as a normal vrs except for different wing mirrors, internally quite different..........

1. superb steering wheel

2. bolero touch sreen radio/ 6 stack cd

3. no multiplayer in the boot.

4. superb heater controls

5. different dash binnacle

6. individual lights in rear headlining lamp

got some pics if anyones interested, will have to send to someones phone, cos i carnt download to my pc..........

Ohhh, nice interior changes imo but is it just me or do the side mirrors look awful? Big sticky out things like shrek's ears? :eek: :P

Now, all I need is the part codes for:

1, The silver trim pieces below the climate control and centre console

2, The rear interior light with seperate reading lamps.

Im guessing they will fit my old, out of date, technically inferior Mk2 :P

Interesting, looks like the interior of the new face lifted Oct'y.

I wonder if all the non exterior face lift cars will get the face lifted interior?

Would keep things consistent on the build line if all the dashboards were the same.

Shame they didn't make an effort and change the seat fabric...... that light bit on the front is a nightmare when you have small kids!!!!!

Sound system? Name in the screen seems to be 'Compass' - would this be a SatNav unit, therefore an upgrade?

Now if Skoda were to do a 15% power upgrade, lowered suspension, standard xenons etc. etc. well?

I'm with Bahnstormer, maybe they should offer different models- within a model, like the old Toyomotor sillycar with its mechanical versions,etc.

This option could be for the people who are distracted by shiny stuff and they could give different options that improve the performance further without tatting up the interior?

Wot's different about the mirrors? And does it have the front splitter/ rear 'difuser' combo?

Presume that front shot of the facelifted RS is a photoshop, but either way it looks very good.

I really like the facelifted interior too, including the steering wheel.

Was the facelift interior a UK car? If yes, are they all coming in to this spec and when did they start?

I am very interested in a CR DSG TDI, looking at VAT free may wait to next year. Want to know what I would be getting as there is no info on Skoda UK website
