My main suggestion would be careful not to let the motor get bogged down in the gears...

Keep the revs up above the 2k mark and you will not go too far wrong.

Try the car on various roads surfaces, I find the car quite noisey on certain road surfaces.

Have fun but don't crash the demo car ;)

good idea that i have noted it down "dont crash the car"

my first test drive was with a sales guy in the car and I was allowed to go to the nearest round about then trun around and go back, only reached 50 mph, they said this was because people had nearly crashed the cars, put me off the car for ages until I had a second test drive.

But at which point random part of interior start falling off and hitting you, that is after the dreaded 4k rattle as well :D Great build quality Clio's... NOT

hobnob exactly what happend with me really short test down 2 straight roads !!! and as ivan knows i really really slated the furby but i think it was because i was ****ed with the sales guy for been a bit of a prize ***** and my shoes i was wearing were too big :)

ivan stop it you loved the valver :) it just didnt like escort bumpers

aye what made my test drive doubly as bad was that I was driving a bright yellow vRS with VRS written all over it in big stickers,

so I'm driving around cramlington with the sales guy in the back and my mate in the front so everyone was looking thinking "you plonker" so that sort of put me off.

Then of course I went out in a red one and put me foot down imediately after test driving a leon cupra tdi and loved it so decided to sign the forms that day for one

well i just got back and well to be blunt it was ****ing Great lol

glad you liked it, not that for a second anyone thought you wouldn't :)

lol the longer test was much better actually got to streatch its legs abit and even with only 1k on it, it did shift

If you do get one, you'll find just changing the tyres improves the handling a fair bit. The michelens that came on mine (don't know if they still come with them) were very hard wearing but generally poor in the handling department. Softer, stickier (at no doubt not so long lasting) Toyo T1-S's give a much more sure footed feel.

Then of course you start thinking about remaps, new suspension, uprated brakes...... ;)
