If it was my car the dog would be in the roofbox.

That roofbox is gonna kill your figures!

You will do better if your passengers take the roofbox and the dog on the train

As to fuel consumption, let's start a sweepstake; I'll go for 31.5mpg (providing you stick to your intended cruise speed and not go any faster).

PS; doubt the bluefin will make any difference; if anything would improve the consumption.

A little conservative and I guess it'll be fed 100RON while it's over there so I may be proven wrong but I reckon that roofbox is going to kill it if my experience to Le Mans and back with a police lightbar on the roof is anything to go by!
