as some of you allready know i have a mildley modded fabia vrs se,i'm torn at the moment as to which direction to take next with the car,i started with a clear plan in my head that it was going to be all about the performance but things i have seen around the show scene this year have made me question what i really want.At the moment i am still very undecided so thought i would have a quick poll on what some of you think,do i have enough performance mods allready? Or do i need to stick to the original plan with the car or do i take it off the road for the winter and concentrate on looks? Or is it about right allready? hmmmm descisions descisions.

Go all the way! Always exciting to see Fabia's over the 200bhp mark.

What were your reasons for raising the rev limiter? In my standard fabia vrs there's no point in taking it past 4500rpm or so; is there something special about your remap? :)

more torque than most maps,so it pulls nice and clean all the way to the red line:thumbup:

You've got the diff and the clutch etc now you need a bigger turbo

I voted Gooooooo!

Much more fun to be had from driving it than cleaning it and then just looking at it. :)

I would opt or "go"

Nothing like having a standard looking fast car to surprise people with. :)

Looks wise your car looks great, so I'd go for more power, at the end of the day you've done most of the prep work required for more power

go every time  the smoothing, colour coding and removal of badges/bump strips whilst subtle improve the looks, is there a whole lot more to do without it looking too messed about with and ch*vvy?

:)

Definatley go for GO!

:wrthless:

Point made

I think the vote count says it all Gary ;)

dont i have your dogbone mount? peformance all the way

You are already blue, the spiders and leather so the show is there, just enlarge the go even more!

If I had the cash I would do it too.

Out of all the mods, which was the best return on your pennies? Smiles per miles sort of thing?

why not Go and Show?

like mine no spaceship, tune to the preformance ;)

Jour car has the show already maybe some really cool wheels ?

And its quick enough to have fun ,do some research in some semi slick tyres for the track days they make a difference

Who are you doing it to please? all the people on here or yourself?

I would hope its yourself, and if it is then only one person can make that decision ;)

`as wih everything i i'm it t please myself,:DBut i really havn't made my mind up yet.

As for slow and go that wouldn't be any use really as the trackdays would soon destroy the show aspect of the car,i don't want to be re doing paintwork all the time,

lol yes a bit of an old spec list ther just copied and pasted:O but everyone gets the gist of the car even if there have been a few ammendments of late

Think you've just answered it. If you go for 'show' then most of what you've done so far is really for nought? You can't track it, or take it to the pod or even drive it quickly down country lanes. You'll end up with a car bra and getting yourself a runaround to pass winter and 'mucky times'. Could have bought a 1.2 sport and tarted it up for a lot less money than you've put into it currently and have the same appearance.

You started for power, changing that now would be like buying a victorian town house and using only the ground floor as a bedsit?

But ultimately; do you prefer looking at your car or driving it?

I'd like to see someone make a real effort on the "Show" front.

So i clicked show.

Not many show worthy Fabia's about in my oppinion.

that my opinion too,i don't really drive the car anymore, but i have becom to atached to it to get ridsome of the cars round the shows this yearhave really blown me away with there detail, and the lack of skodas on the scene mean i would have somthing fairly unique,is a desision i am currently giving a ot of thought to a the moment

I seem to have no problem driving with my car:)

Do certain that you can have both, do not understand what can go broke on my more than on a original car with the same mod?

I drive 2500 mil per year which is quite a lot i think.

I do pick of the fender during the winter ..

There are a lot of work behind, it is but nothing is irreplaceable.

Then because of all the work I put down is why I feel great when I go to the car and when i drive it,

the feeling of done somthing diffrent than everybody else!

I agree with the need for new rims:)

I voted Go, and if there was a button labelled 'drink less' I'd have pressed that too ;)
