Graphite Grey Metallic - Anyone seen one?

Featured Replies

I've seen loads of Black vRS's

I've seen a few Silver ones

I've seen 2 Yellow ones.

I've seen 1 Red one.

BUT, I've not yet seen a Graphite Grey Metallic one!

Does anyone have a good image of a Grey one that they can post?

Thanks

Only available in 4 colours, and Grey isn't one of them ;)

As yet...

Thanks, that's the reason then. I have the latest Fabia brochure in front of me, and it does not say "not vRS" next to Graphite Grey, must be a mistake. For the record it also says that only one remote key fob is supplied with the vRS, but I believe you get 2 of these with your new vRS. I don't now how you would disarm the alarm with a "normal" key, so you must get 2 key fobs!

Your right that you get 2 key fobs.

However I had a Focus recently with a "normal" key, it had a chip inside it which meant that the Alarm wouldn't sound & that cancelled the imobiliser as well.

Thats why it costs a fortune to replace one

Could only get 4 coulours when I ordered mine and I got 2 key fobs

You get 2 key fobs yes.

But the alarm is still activated by the door lock if you use the key.

...IIRC, only if you don't put the key in the ignition before 30 secs...

Alarm is armed and disarmed via the key. It will go off if you don't put the key in the ignition after 30 seconds as you've opened the door. With the remote key fob, the door will just relock itself after 30 seconds.....

..spotted in oxfordshire this last week between Witney and Long Hanborough by myself.. it had a 54 plate on it.. couldn't say specifically what model it was, we were both doing 50 in opposite directions - had to pay attention to a merc driver in front of me - they're useless.

Maybe it was a Grey Gables Special Graphite Grey vRS :)

Is that the same grey you can get Seat LCRs in? Looks rather nice imho. OK Black is the best (flame suit on :P) but I do like that metallic grey. Plus it probably doesn't look too dirty even when it is :o

Maybe it was a Grey Gables Special Graphite Grey vRS[/i'] :)

you never know - I think the majority of Skodas I see around oxfordshire seem to come from Grey Gables..

I take mine there for the servicing, as its two minutes from where I work.

What does amaze me though - is ever since the Skoda was reborn and its popularity increases, the number of old skodas on the roads seems to have risen aswell - it's as if they were embarrased to drive them until the new modern skodas appeared.

I hope they are OK as they are supplying me with my new vRS soon. :) It will be interesting to see how they compare in cost for the 10,000 mile service where there seems to be huge differences throughout the country.

Strangely they are not listed on the Skoda site when looking for used car stock, even though they are listed as a 'used approved' dealer?!

If you can provide feedback on how your experiences are, that would be great, I'm looking for a dealer nearby Abingdon, currently Newbury is the favourite as they appear to have a decent reputation, but I will consider others :)

I found Grey Gables to be OK. They actually let me drive the car away after paying for it with a personal cheque, how trusting is that? I would recommend them, maybe you should go and take a look. It's worth going to see the old early 60's Octavia that they have in the showroom!
