Right then let me start by saying thanks to all who responded to my last thread, I have found a 1999 skoda felicia 1.9 d, can anybody tell me if the box from this will fit my 2001 octavia 1.9 sdi please, i am thinking of changing the engine and box over as mine has rather high miles being an ex taxi. Is this possible for it to drob straght in please, someone help as i not going to pay over £500 for a replacement box. Thank you, Peter:thumbup:

Pretty sure the engines are totally different. The ex-gf used to have a 1.9D Felicia on an R plate and that only kicked out about 60bhp, and I assume the Octy SDI is more than that. Gear ratios felt very different to my 110TDi.
