Standard vRS Rolling road

Featured Replies

has anyone had a completely standard Fabia vRS on a rolling road to see what the actualy BHP / Ft lbs figures are compared to the published ones??

I had mine on a RR @ dubsport.. had done 11k miles or so

came out 149bhp and 260lb/ft

there were a few other Ibiza tdi130s there too (same engine) and they both got 145bhp 276lbft and 147bhp 267lb/ft

:)

Mine was 147bhp standard.

Getting mine done this sunday, and im standard...i will let you know!

Me too. will be interesting to compare. I've done 5k so far.

Jonno.

I'd thought about getting mine done. However it prays on my mind a little that I might not get as good figures as what some people here got. Dunno about anyone else, but that would be canny annoying like!

Standard. I wouldn't think you have anything to worry about. Remapped. You'll be convinced your car is broken. The dangers of RRs. :D

I really want to get mine done once its run in a little bit, anyone know anywhere near newcastle / Durham that does rolling road. Also how accurate is it?

LFC got his done the same time as mine. See my signature. I did have it rolling roaded before but he figures where way way to high (154bhp IIRC). The rolling road myself and steve went on was pretty much spot on as I know it is calibrated regularly. Mine was rolling roaded with just over 3000 miles on the clock so the engine is still not 100% loose. Most people see around 145bhp TBH.

To get a fully accurate figure you really need to drop the engine out and run it up on an engine dyno but who is willing to do that just to see how much BHP their car is producing.
