I can also pull off the EGR to get the light on...so that makes it equal with Fyntons :P

No idea !

Unless when it was last mapped, the original EGR was still there, or the mapper didn't have the ability to map it out at the time.

It was not easily removed at the time IIRC, now it is possible though

I've done all this. I had the stage 2 turbo, FMIC etc on my old PD 130. Make no mistake the car was fast but on an accurate dyno i use ( where figures are consistant with JKM'S) I could not get over 221bhp no matter how many tweaks were done to the map. The torque could be changed quite a bit but not the bhp.

It just tops out at that figure as there is no more fuel available
