Hello to all!

Just bought a 10 month old VRS after owning a couple of scoobs, lots of hot hatches etc and just previously an A6 Quattro. It was on Scoobynet that lots of recommendations pointed me to this site. Although I'm skint having bought the Fabia I've had a look through this forum and I'm already planning future mods .

I'm sure a remap, exhaust and filter will be on my list, but I think that if anything needs sharpening up a wee bit, its the handling. What do people advise for reasonable cost - strutbrace, roll bars, suspension? Is there any way to get a bit more steering feedback - would bigger wheels give this? Has anyone considered lowering theirs? Its not that I'm at all disappointed (I wouldn't say my driving skills are anything special so maybe I should spend the cash on a driving course :confused: ), but the performance is more than adequate for me at the moment and I have to have something to plan and look forward to .

Just found my thread as it was moved from the Fabia section, that'll teach me to follow the rules!

Jon - If Xenons were optional extras, then the previous owner didn't tell me about them, it is Black Magic though - was advertised on Pistonheads.

DGW - A step down in terms of size yeah, but not price - it was on a S plate with 120K. A lovely car though, but a bit civilised for me though and couldn't overtake like the Furby! One of the reasons I went for another VAG group car though, you'd be suprised by the similarities between the Audi and Skoda.
