Was remapped yesterday afternoon....met Nige at Hartshead Moor services on the M62 yesterday afternoon....him in the coolest Fiat 500 I've seen!!!

Only driven it home (albeit the long way) and first impressions are that the engine pulls so much harder. Still nice and smooth but the wave of torque comes on so much stronger. I'm suitably impressed so far.

I'll update further when I've had a chance to give her a full run out.

How's things going with the Angel remap?

I spoke to Paul at Angel tuning the other week and looking to get my Tfsi done soon

Still impressed...it maybe isn;t the most discrete map....it comes on boost and pulls like a train, like a standard PD TDi, just so much stronger!!

No experience with a TFSI but can only report good thingd from both my remaps....make sure you tell Angel that I'm singing their praises

Just had my seat leon 2 1.9 tdi 105bhp( which is basically the same as the octavia II) engine remapped by paul at angel tuning in troon and it has transformed the whole car no flat spots smooth linear power delivery no smoke and a great price. These guys are friendly, will answer any questions you might have and clearly know their stuff. Having messed around with various tuning boxes previously dragon, & van aaken that didnt work well at all on the euro 4 1.9 105bhp this remap is really in a different league. I pondered long and hard on a remap. Dont think about it do it you wont be dissapointed

Can't speak for the diesel engines, but I recently had an Angel remap on my 1.8T petrol Octavia at ##!!## garage in Tunbridge Wells, and I've looked like this ever since:

It's the only option for me as I've heard lots of positive reviews about them also they're local...ish to me, the next closest tuner is Drivers in Glasgow and they don't do any tuning below 400 quid for the tfsi iirc.

Just needing to get a CAI sneakily fitted to the car without SWMBO knowing before the remap to help things along a little:D

well its finally done. the car is pushing out around 205bhp and 410lbs/ft of torque. AMAZING power delivery and the man who did it is called Paul WInston. He drives a mental looking wee Fiat Panda with Arbath trim. Genuinely nice man.

I can't get the grin off ma face. it's totally amazing. well worth the £275 spent on the car.

If you want details on how to contact him give me a PM. It's worth the cash. :D:D:D:thumbup::thumbup::rofl::rofl::rofl:;););)
