Vancouver

Just a few pics of the east side of Downtown Vancouver, an area called Coal Harbour. I spent a couple of hours just sat taking it all in this morning.

All taken with a Canon G10 (awesome camera btw).

You have been here Steve.... you know Vancouver's secret. Im already settled. Blown away by it.

Great stuff

Yep, very jealous - if I could convince SWMBO, I'd be over there like a shot.

Steve

Get a job instead of loafing about with a camera, you idle good for nothing....:D

Maybe he's a Tour Guide?

It looks great Dave. My uncle lived there for years, God only knows why he returned as he loved it. Have you met many other English people there that have done the same?

Ah the memories  Never mind the scenery though, is Fritz's chip shop still at Davie Street, between Howe and Granville

Hey Pixi - he must be bonkers! Not met any other ex pats as yet.

Westerdam - I'll look out for that, only 15 min stroll from where I am, I'll let you know. After I have tried it of course. Im going through the ethnic food phase right now. How anyone likes Sushi is beyond me.

Looks kinda ok I spos.

What's the work situation like over there?........if the plan isn't to loaf about taking pics all day long.

Looks nice Dave, we've only been to Montreal and Toronto and Niagara Falls.

Montreal seemed very laid back, Toronto seemed to be trying too hard to be American.

However, over the border, Chicago's nice and Detroit is like a bigger version of Hull!

Except that the people in Detroit seem friendlier!

There's at least 2 people in Canada with Estelles by the way, one of them used to be on here occasionally ... Xchox ? I think.

all the best ... Darren

Hi Des, plenty of jib's in Vancouver. I don't want anything stressful, working in Starbucks would do.

For anyone interested - these photo's have not been manipulated in anyway, all straight off the camera - Canon G10. I have cropped a couple, thats all. Can't wait to start messing with RAW and HDR.

Great pics
