Any standard vRS wanna go?

Featured Replies

on the 0-60 dash? From what I can gather its a 2 cars go at the same time thingy - so wondered if anyone at TRAX in a standard vRS fancied a go against me? (A chipped one would be a bit non-competitive)

Its

Yeah why not Jason, or we could try it for free on saturday :D

Jonno.

I might be wrong but i dont think you go head to head, you just do your run and get the time recorded so you will just have to compare times with each other

Oh right - so in my beer induced state last night looking at the trax2004 website, I came to my conclusion, eh? Beeeeeer. What a wonderful invention! :dtp:

Here's a tip for a fast 0-60 time Jason..

Keep the wheels on the tarmac ;)

I should start growing wings and quacking, cuz its like water off a ducks back nowadays!

I'll have a go if I'm chipped, to see if I can get into the mid 8s

Jason, if I was able to make Trax, I'd go up against you - would be good to see how much difference your chip makes :) Maybe another time ;)

You might as well get your "old fellas" out and see who's got the biggest :D

in the past the trax 0-60 runs have been a go on your own affair not a head to head like say the pod... whos to say they havent changed it for this year though.

Jason, I would have thought that the best advice for a fast 0-60 was to use your wheels and not your roof :).

William, try scrolling back 8 posts ...

Last year there were two 0 - 60 runs going on simultaneously, but in different places I think.

What do we reckon would be a good time for:

Standard Furby VRS

Standard Octy VRS

Chipped Furby VRS

Chipped Octy VRS

Sorry if I've left any other models attending out...

I may have a go. Would like to compare the time along side my AP-22.

what about the proper octavias, the 4x4's!! :P

BTW

All this talk about a std Furby, looking at the std cars that have gone on RR days, there appears NOT to be a std Furby.

Has anyone got a 130 BHP, ( no mods at all ) on this site ?

Mine was purchased as a std car but I have a Green filter, and the RR day figures below show different. Ivan also on the same RR day, std car, was differnt from mine.

It would be interesting to see what a 130 BHP does.

Steve

mine was 132bhp 224ft/lb, last week at jbs 5500 miles standard. but now got green filter thingy.

Don't know if that makes much of a diference.

Jonno.

Jonno

it took me a couple of days to notice any difference, but the pickup when the turbo kicks in feels a lot sharper, before it seemed to drift in.

Still loved the car before the filter, now better :)

Steve
