Well I guess my 88 year old granddad really did have a good taste in cars! He passed away last year and left me his pristine black magic baby. We all laughed at him wanting to sell his golf GTi for a Skoda but I guess he had the last laugh at us. This car is so much fun to drive and being a woman, its nice to be able to batter posers in 'flash' cars for a change! I am now well and truly converted to the green badge and its all thanks to Pops. He wasn't exactly ur typical granddad driver and used to love a good burn up. I'm sure he would have loved to read the stuff posted on this forum and even go to some of the meets.

I bought one of these for me and then got a new job which came with a car so my wife has now inherited mine. They are great cars and really under rated - even saw one on the wrc leader board (for a while) today on the rally norway coverage.
