Dam, them wheels look so nice on the car Jason.

cheers :D thought it was something differnet, not seen another with old rs4's on before

As a new 2.5 V6 owner, I'm amazed by the achievable mpg and surprised at the claims that the engine is inefficient. That figure of 47.6 was achieved in cold weather with lights and heater going a lot of the time, and shows the average based on long trips and shorter ones from a pretty cold engine.

On the long trips, it's common to see 52 or 53 mpg by the end of the run

Keep the engine below 2k rpm, use the engine torque and keep off the turbo and it's excellent.

fwiw - as aformer owner of this engine in manual form, a combined 41 (calc) is what managed in a couple of years. prob 70% A-road, 25% town, 5% with 2 bikes on roof at 50mph.

At that time i was a bp ultimate convert as well, which imho helped low down torque from 1k rpm

Thanks guys, sorry aboutthe typos, dyxlescci fingers.

Perhaps Ferret could post his planners name and we can all write to rant about the speed bumps. Like Johannapalm I too have boot admirers. Only yesterday a young bone head in a Ford Fiesta decided he could not wait and overtook me at speed over the bumps and nearly collided with an on coming car. Last year a yound woman took off after hitting the bumps at speed and wrapped her self round a lamp post. All in the name of road safety.

Save safely out there.
