It should drop a bit more, the dampers need to settle in.

Mine sit slightly lower at the back than the front - "DTM look" according to Eibach's website. They do settle a bit though, so don't worry that they don't seem to have dropped much.

surely the front should be lower than the back, for the best handling ?

Don't get confused. Eibachs are not about handling. They're about looks. DTM cars all have anti-squat, so that backs sit low and they permanently look like they're accellerating hard. If you want better handling then you probably want about £1000 worth of Bilstein Coilovers, or something from KW.

The FSDs are just incredible shocks though - they really do stiffen up on corners and soften on the straights. Hitting a pothole while cornering hard can be a bit of a jar to the back though ;)

An inch is 25mm... so "about an inch" is right :)

Eibachs are all about the handling ! supposed to be one of the best spring kits there are

if the Eibachs make the Fabia lower on the back than the front then ill be looking elsewhere

i dont see any mention of being lower on the back on any Eibach website, or any of the catalogues ive come across (i used to sell them!)

They are £150 lowering springs with (I believe) the same effective rate as the standard car, so it's no stiffer. They drop the car 30mm. That's it. A JabbaSport ARB has a massive effect on the handling in comparison.

Well, I've seen 4 Eibach equipped Fabias and they all sit slightly low at the back.

The phrase you are looking for is "DTM look".

This is why I got coilovers as I had a spring kit on my Corsa and was always disappointed with the ride height

The estate has coilovers now, mainly as the springs were from the vRS and they were just not suitable. On the vRS I was very much happy with the height, in fairness.

The estate looks better decked like it is now though :D

wouldnt say that, a £350 set of vmaxxes will do a decent job. ;)

why drop 30mm on rear but no diff on front tho...cant say im not dissapointed tbh

It should have dropped at the front as well, how many miles have you done since fitting them though?

I had Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks on my previous Mk3 Golf, very happy with the handling and ride indeed, but the back was always lower than the front, which never looked quite right. This is why I am having AP coilovers fitted to the vrs on the 16th ;)

since when do touring cars sit lower at the back than the front ?

Anti-squat. At one point DTM cars were running more power than F1, and they had their own peculiar setups to deal with it.

Thats not decked, I raised it up as you can't be trusted ;)

 - I reckon it's the right height for the roads then ;) - any lower would cause problems for me :P
