Ross, No, I really want to temporarily swap the seats. I am eyeing up a leather retrim. I would like to strip the doorcards and passenger seat (easy job), leave them with the trimmers, then re-install them and drop off the drivers seat to match

Or is there an easier way to do it, am I being thick ?

Immediate problem woud be the seat belt. L & R handed.

I think the lumbar adjustment wheel might get in the way of the central armrest......?

You'll have to buckle up using the passenger belt

Centre armrest isn't standard in UK PD. Only for lazy b45t4rds like us

Airbags pose no problems! just rememmber to leave the battery off for 10 minutes before removing seats. Lots of myths about airbags, most are untrue

You hit a tree on your drivers door and the airbag fires from your left hand side, firing you even harder against the door as it hits the tree....

I'd say thats a problem..
