vRS Limited Edition still available?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if the vRS LE cars are all sold or not?

Had been thinking of changing my vRS and just wondering if anyone knows if they are all sold yet, before i get onto the dealer tomorrow.

Interest is quite high, so I'd get to a dealer PDQ if you are serious about one!

Sorry for my ignorance but whats a PDQ?

Pretty damn quick :)

Get in there quick indeed!

Mine is on order - hopefully coming within next 2 weeks. Seem to have only been rolled out recently tho. Was supposed to have been released in January but it seems Skoda have held off till the new 09 plate.

Its a lot of car for the money; if you manage to get the 15%VAT off price you're laughing (this offer runs till end of March BTW).

there was one in Bickerton in Sheffield a couple of weeks ago

I thought they were built to order? If that is the case then both should still be available, surely?

Just seen a hatch LE VRS for sale in the showroom at Newbury...

There is also an LE vRS Hatch in the showroom at Manchester (Eccles).

Nope the split of hatch, and estates as well as engines was set before they went on sale. All the cars were already shipped over, and the seats etc worked on at the dockside.

There's still availability of all versions, although the petrol hatch seems to be hardest to source.

There was a LE hatch in the showroom at Grassmere in Macc last week when I went in.

Strange the number of LE sitting in garages with apparently no owners.........Ive been waiting for mine now for months and am sure I will not be the only one....Is there something amiss here??? am starting to wonder... have some people cancelled there orders, I wouldnt be supprised. It seems to be a bit of disaster for skoda I know am sick of waiting. The dealers said the car is iminant....yer so is christmas I can tell them the date that falls on.....Should I ask.. will it be here by then...ha

Petrol le in Derek Slacks,Middlesbrough in showroom i think, looked like one when i went past.

cbr600........Better not be am still waiting....Its not a LE but one of the hybrid models a few hanging around..Apparently they got 10 in..... nearly all gone now...whats more interesting is the one parked up outside...A closer inspection of the front grill reveals all some nice blue lights in there...... all anthracite grey paint...confusing I know

Rang a couple of dealers today and was offered the hybrid model, an anthracite VRS

Did they have some spare or are they becoming more limited.

Shame they don't have the new stereo and centre console

The dealer has received some paperwork for our car, at last!!!!

We were originally given the 19 march as the date the car would be ours, so we sold our MKI Octy and then the day came and went.

SWMBO went F***ing ballistic as our daughter has had to attend hospital a few times in the last few weeks and we only had my work banger to drive. In fact she went at them so well Skoda UK paid for a hire car for a week and then arranged a loan car which we've had for a week or so.

We've also been given the 1st years service free and a full tank of fuel when it eventually arrives.

As Ants said Petrols seem to be the hardest cars to get at the moment.

Our dealer has said they have never known Skoda UK provide a hire car before so I guess we must be privileged:)

Munster...Good for you.. glad to here your car is on its way.

I have heard nothing yet about mine (Petrol) but I too complained to skoda about the waiting time for the LE......My current car is like yours an old banger.. exhaust blowing etc, etc but refuse to spend money on it. Explained this to skoda about my concerns about picking my daughter up from Uni in Edinburgh for easter with my current car...anyway they hired me a car in for the weekend which I thought was reasonable. Mind you it wasn`t a skoda... my wife is starting to think they dont want me to have one ...ha

A bit of an update for you guys. I've just been allocated a petrol LE hatch that we ordered on 3rd March.

So about 7 weeks wait.

Thats good, lets hope mine is in the same batch!!

things are looking good....just been told by the dealers my LE petrol has electronical been assigned and should be hear within 4 to 5 days....things are moving at last......
