Estate?

Featured Replies

I wouldn't mind the Fabia saloon, structurally more rigid than the hatch, which has got to be a good thing ;)

my experiance with a seat ibiza then a seat cordoba sums up your remarks very well, cordoba handled a lot better.

I didn't find my 2.0 115bhp engine in my Octavia crap it was a strong puller and was excellent for motorway cruising in Europe and a good towcar, it had lots of low down torque and returned about 35mpg on average. The 1.8T petrol variant's are better than the 8v 2.0 units with slightly better econoey and more bhp, although not available in the Fabia.

Agree about the saloon' date=' One of my colleagues drives a 1.9sdi Furby saloon.

It looks like some had a sudden idea " oh ! i have a good idea, lets put a boot on the Furby that should generate more sales "

It looks like an after thought. ( same as the focus, old astra. ).

I don't know, point taken about the Fabia and the Astra, but the Focus is quite nice as a saloon perhaps nicer than the hatch, although I lke the estate Focus. The Ford Focus is a really good car too, and has joined the ranks of being a 'world' car.

Oh and to the man considering getting a estate get a TDi Diesel. The 2.0 isn't great, the 1.4 16v is nice but a bit buzzy above 75 and spookily quiet at tickover, and the torque of the diesel is useful for the estate and makes the 1.9 seem more powerful

I own a fabia estate that is slightly modified modificatons include

de-badged front grille

eyebrows

rear spoiler (from czech)

carbon dash kit

tinited windows

carbon door pillars

carbon mirrors

milotec front splitter soon to be changed

and much more

also has been badged as a vrs

Have you got any pictures mate, it sounds nice

i will put pictures on here soon when i have time to do so, will be puttin some big chrome rims on it soon and also a carbon bonnet

20" spinners??

no mate, some spinners are illegal you no, i was thinking more like 17" or 18" rims

18" are a little too big for the Furbie IMHO go for some 17's, maybe octy vRS ones?

I Seen Plenty Of Fabias In Czech With 18"s On Some Looked Nice, I Might Put Some Audi A8 Rims On Or Wolfrace Hybrid Rims Not Sure Yet

What about RS4's?

Yer I Did Consider Them As Well And Also Golf Gti Rims

What engine have you got in your estate? :D

Chris

i have got a 1.4 tdi its quick for a low engined car

I took a 52 plate 2.0l elegance estate with just 8k on the clock for a test drive yesterday. Nice car, very impressed by it !.

I definately want an estate, so much room in the boot compared to my old Polo!!.

I want one, it has to be elegance spec though. Just need to sell my Polo now then I can go shopping ! :-)
