My 11 days with my Fab vRS

Featured Replies

What can I say, I love it more each day.....

Love the way it looks, love the way it drives. Definately got the best colour IMHO as the black makes the front look pretty mean and moody. It goes like a rocket, even limiting myself to using up to 3000 rpm for now until I at least hit the 1000 mile mark. Has only done 297 miles so I have a while to go yet (mostly used so far so/from bloody work  )

Day after picking it up I treated seats with Diamondbrite Jewelultra protector with thus far has proved invaluable. I washed and waxed it on sat just gone, using Autoglym shampoo and stage 1 and 2 Jewelultra which I DEFFO recommend

Each time I look at it on my drive I smile a wry smile, and each time it gets admiring looks from other motorists or pedestrians it kinda gives me a smugness I have never experienced before. Remember, this make was the butt of all jokes a few years back....now who's laughing???

Already decided on my next car 11 days into owning this one, another Fab Vrs. I rate it that much, and I have owned some fairly decent cars (traded my Mk4 Golf V5 in for the Fab, never looked back).

Anyway, this 'review' really meant for new visitors, as all you other fab vrs owners will already know what I am talking about ;)

NOT gonna de-badge, I am proud to drive a Skoda....really

Hehe, nice review, but why not just keep your Fabia vRS instead of planning to get another one :D

Anyway, I know what you mean about admiring glances, I get lots of those in my car, and everyone comments on how good it looks. The drive aint too shabby either :D

Dont get me wrong, I plan to keep it for at least 3-4 years yet, BUT am so impressed so far that I dont want to 'jump stable'. It gives me everything and more, so why go elsewhere?

Best thing I ever did....FACT ;)

me too love mine every day... had it 2.5 months and done 6000 miles !!!!

I reckon you've all made sensible choices. I've spent ages trying to find a bad word to be said about the vRS, and Fabia in general. The sites below prove interesting reading.

I have no doubt, price against peformance and quality, you just can't beat it! I was quite willing and ready to exchange

When you have your car take these people out for a drive, they wil change thier mind.

And besides the whole reason Skoda's are cheaper is because of that badge image, so i'm getting a cheaper car because of thier ignorance, fine by me :)

3 months and 9 days give or take an hour or two... 15,000 miles, still love it as much as the day i picked it up!

Could agree more with you I love my Furby vrs, with out a doubt it is the best car I have ever owned! I to had (and still get) the badge snobbery but most shut up once they have had a drive in it!

4 months and 7800 miles on it! Wahoo I'm low mileage! lol

6 months, 11K miles. Still lovin it. Just need funds to help improve the car.

Skoda will eventually shed their reputation and be up there charging through the roof like other manufacturers eventually so y not soak it up while they are cheap :D:thumbup:

My thoughts exactly - looking at the new Octy price list I would say the prices are already creeping up but still good value and don't know how a lot of VW/Audi owners can justify the cost of their cars
