Last night after coming out of a blockbusters I got in my car as usual and a text message came in, so before driving off I sat there and replied. The engine and light were off and it was fairly dark there, two young lad strolled upto the car and went to try the door handle! :eek: but just before the grabed it they must have noticed me sitting in it, they turned and pretended to be looking for something.

Makes me wonder if the vrs rep is becoming something for TWOCers to be interested in?

Thats why I like stealthy looking cars. And your sig says you have a few attention grabbing things on your car (what is an RS Screenspoiler?) and sticking 17s on will give it even more unwanted attention.

Without sounding like an old hand... I've seen exactly the same posts by Octy RS owners "back in the day".. There is no real answer, nice looking cars will attract attention, especially as they gain reputation.......

I agree, in an ideal world, it would not be as issue. But you and I both know this is NOT an ideal world, and so if you have things which attract attention then they will get attention, sometimes unwanted. I intend to keep mine looking as standard as possible. I did contemplate the idea of ripping the badges off, but ultimately, anyone with eyes is going to see its still a vRS anyway.

You know, it makes me sick. If someone breaks into your house and you clobber them, you get done. If you electrify your car and they try and steal it and hurt themself, you get done.

Its no ****ing wonder society has no respect for anything any more, we are at liberty to be walked all over by these scumbags. Sometimes I think its probably best if you catch this scum just to kill them and dump the body in a river with concrete arm bands.

A few years ago, there was some anti-theft device that utlised the HT circuit I believe, which was a real deterrent.................

My wife spotted someone get out of their car and take a photo of our VRS with a mobile phone - I still can't work out why, but 2 months later and the cars still on the drive. Ok it's a nice car, but hardly a Ferrari.
