Has your Fabia had the wrong type of attention?

Well Then Run The ****ers Over, Either Way Never Let Them Get Away With It....no Way Pedro!!!!

Society sucks. There are so many little scum bags that know the have more rights in the legal system than the Old Bill, so even if they do get caught they always get away with it. The courts system is shocking and they're more than happy to let the little blighters get away with things than give them time or a criminal record!

Since my mate nearly got car jacked in his Scooby in Bradford on a drive through the city I've started to drive along with the doors locked when I'm getting anywhere near a dodgy area!

The types of people that steal others cars are the skid marks in the pants of society and need to be strung up in my book

South Africa have the right idea... saw a thing on tv where car jackers attempted to steal a car and the driver flicked a button to execute a large samurai style sword swing out from under the car to take the blokes out :D

It's like the person who drives an unregistered car with no insurance, tax or valid driving license, does 60 in a 40 zone, runs a red light and smashes headlong into an innocent driver turning right, narrowly misses a bus-stop full of people. 10 months down the line, he goes to Magistrates Court, gets his license suspended for 12 months regardless of the fact he was driving without a license in the first place, and told to pay the person he hit

It really depends on a lot of things, whether your car gets the wrong type of attention. Mostly where you are, i used to drive an escort XR3i (i know bad car, present from dad though so had to like it!) and got broken into 3 times in nottingham in one year. Outside my house in london (fairly nice area) never had a problem for 5 years. At least you know they will have trouble driving it away, due to the technology this baby has to offer and there's always insurance for the rest. Bar that, wacking them is all you can do, and then hope for no response...!

Life sucks sometimes, but we can't control everything!

GOOD, I am gald I dont stand alone with this......the legal system is ****e, therefore the only language these toe-rags understand is violence. And before the anti-violence lobby come down down me just want to say that I am probably the most placid person you would care to meet, BUT everyone (and I mean everyone) has a breaking point (Human nature, but it is a fact) and therefore if someone attempted to break into my car/house/garage I WOULD defend it without question, and if that meant violence, then........well so be it. I am 6'2 and quite fit/strong so I can handle myself if needs be...and I would still defend my property if I was 4 foot 3. Thats just me, protective over my family, protective over my property.

So, thieving 'tennants super' drinking drug taking work shy leeches....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I think most of us would matey, we would be in trouble afterwards but you would have reacted to the situation at hand, reminds me off a story about this bloke my grandad knew, he was on the train late at night and 3 lads thought they would have their way with a young lass on the train (I think you know what I mean by that). Well being that he had a daughter of the same sort of age he stepped in to help her out. One grabbed him from behide and he lashed out knocking him to the floor. As the a**hole fell he hit his head on the metal poll. He died from that blow which was really unlucky. The guy that stepped in to help this poor girl that was in the middle of gettin raped ended up going away for 5 years. He missed out on seeing his youngest grow up and missed his family. The other two perverts nothing really happened to them. The "hero" (he is in my books) said that he would never help again and regreted stepping in to help the young girl out.

Now that is a sad thing to think and say but you cannot blame him!

Lifes not fair but you just have to do what you feel is right and stick by your moral code.

That just shows how crap our justice system really is :redhot:

That is terrible, but the hero did what anyone else with common sense and morals would've done, shame our legal system doesn't have any morals, just a big fat flaw that let these little

Years ago a friend of mine - call him Mr X - was in exactly the same situation. He went forward to help and had a knife waved in his face by one of the scumbags.

Well, Mr X was on the way home from his main passion - the gun club - and was accompanied by his friends Mr Smith and Mr Wesson. X introduced Smith and Wesson to the neds and they left promptly at the next station, no doubt having cr**ed in their pants :D

Last night after coming out of a blockbusters I got in my car as usual and a text message came in' date=' so before driving off I sat there and replied. The engine and light were off and it was fairly dark there, two young lad strolled upto the car and went to try the door handle! but just before the grabed it they must have noticed me sitting in it, they turned and pretended to be looking for something.

Makes me wonder if the vrs rep is becoming something for TWOCers to be interested in?[/quote']

Number 1 rule anyone should follow - as soon as you get in the car - LOCK THE DOORS!

Last year, there were several kids on my street talking about "Gone In Sixty Seconds" and they were thinking of trying out what they had seen in the film. These kids were younger than 10 for christ' sake. They shouldn't have been able to see the film - let alone have the nerve to try things out. Anyway, being quite thick as they were/probably still are, two of them approached my car. I say they were quite thick as they hadn't noticed me inside the car - I was cleaning it at the time. When they got so close that they finally noticed me.. I shouted from inside "DON'T EVEN F***IN' THINK ABOUT IT! " to which they quite rapidly did an about-face and run-off down the street.

Pity really, as I was about to get out and explain to them why what they were trying to emulate wouldn't work in the slightest on a Skoda Fabia. The thing is - all said and done, it's the parents who I blame for problems like this in society. It is getting worse - there are people with no morals, no respect and it does make you wonder always what things are going to be like when we get towards retirement age.

However, if everyone on this forum knows this and acknowledges this, then things surely can't be that bad can they? My one other point is this. Even if some of you think that the police don't do anything about such petty-crime, like breaking into cars, stealing license plates, tyres being slashed etc. Always report it - always complain. Complain until you are blue in the face. We have to. Otherwise things will get even worse. Every time we complain, they have to record it - that recording puts pressure on any government, as the reported crime increases.

In summary, be safe - but kick-up fuss when someone tries to the pi$$. :D

Regards,

I had to vent that off my chest - apologies to all for ranting. All criminals are scumbags and under my government would probably be shot immediately, or given 100,000 hours community service - cleaning up the streets etc.

Well said! Personally I'm all in favour of public floggings in the Market Place on Saturday mornings for consistent offenders. They need to learn, and this may be the only option left.

I read in the local rag about youths being up before the magistrates for not having Tax or Insurance, they fine them about

HERE HERE

skodaTDI is 1000000% correct in saying that we should report any form of car crime cos it'll get recorded and the government hate having un detected crime to account for, and lets face it if someone scratches your car in the night you've got no chance of knowing who did it unless they left their passport on your driveway, but then these days it might not even be their real passport

A while back some guy had a row with his girlfriend who wouldn't let him into the house. He said if you don't let me in I'll smack the next guy that come along the road. He did this, and the guy died- fell onto the kerb, smacked his head severely- instantanoeus death. This guy lived 10 doors down and was simply walking home. Police caught the criminal and he claimed it wasn't his fault because he had 10 pints before and this was a mitigating circumstance. He got 10 years out in 6. IMHO he should be out in 10 and if he doesn't behave out in 16, but he should have a 30 year stretch for that. He took some poor 30 year old guys life for no reason yet he gets (basically) 6 years?

Surprised that your friend got banged up for that, that was unlucky as it was self defence really.

Laws an ass no doubt about it. I'd support (basically) any government that brings in stricter punishments, and focuses on the victim. That means you get a cell, with a light and a toilet. You get a meal of whatever the hell they are serving that day- no menus, and you get out for 40 minutes in the yard or library. The rest of the time you can sew mail sacks or do a college course if you want. Certainly no Sky TV and no PS2. Think of the money that could be saved from this.

Couldn't agree more, the criminals that live in prison have a cushy number, they get loads of stuff and they can still have pretty much whatever gear they want cos the prison security is crap and anything can get smuggled in. One of my mates is Old Bill and he's spoken to criminals who have stated they prefer being inside rather than out in the freedom as life is less complicated and easier, sounds like crime can pay after all

On the off chance that a criminal gets a sentence they never get a long enough one and they only ever serve half of it, society sucks and when you catch the buggers they get an easy ride. :thumbdwn:
