Would you Believe it. Skoda voted No1 on roada

Featured Replies

This can only mean good things for Skoda in the UK. They are consistantly coming in the top end of surveys, including this one and the JD power surveys.

Excellent.

Does that mean price increases?

9234

Could be a good leverage point for customers who have a problem, say just out of warranty. I must admit, after using VW for 20 years, Skoda service is like a breath of fresh air.

Yeeee Haaaaaa, thats one in the eye for those who dislike Skoda :P

Mater told me to...............

I can well believe the JD power survey showing this - they have been great for years!

What I find amusing, is that if low down in a survey, Skoda bods dismiss it as rubbish, when it's good news it valid.

I'm curious as to how shy't the other cars in the survey must have been for Skoda to be top??;)

1st... they've obviously never owned a mk1 fabia then :D

the thing that makes me laugh is that vw comes about 14th or something when essentially they are identical cars with different body panels

The survey takes into account the main dealers performance as well.

Have you ever experieced VW dealers? I have, and it aint good.

i am surprised that those of you who read the contents didnt recognise the plageristic journalism from the JD power survey from auto express, so its not 'another' top of the pops for Skoda, just a rehash of news from elsewhere.

SWMBO read this out to me then followed it by "Your's is still sh|te though".

Then she got in her Tigra, which leaks, rattles has rust and the front bumper held together with duck tape.

Women

Mind you I had just spent 3hours washing and polishing the Skud and refused to spend more than 10min on her skip.

lower expectations of a Skoda?

Having owned a couple of VW's and one Skoda I would confirm that Skoda's dealers are better and the cars more reliable!!

Who got first place for reliability?

It was Skoda I think , Lexus was 2nd.

That`s brilliant news but can you believe what the Sun newspaper say`s.

why's it brilliant news? was it changed the way you perceive your car? has it suddenly become more reliable? are the bad dealers (because they do exist) suddenly better?

didn't think so

:)

I would rather believe the Sun newspaper than Mr Brown, Darling, Mandelson And bLiar.

The dealers are the key here , i'm defecting from Mercedes Benz to Skoda and replacing my E class with a Superb mainly on the experience i have had at the dealers

Wife has an Octy Vrs and my mum has a Furby VRS and our local dealer is very good (Ashmore Green) and Merc dealers are very very very bad , our local VW is also dire as wife had a Beetle before the Skoda

Look at the Jag XF not a great reliability record yet still scores highly with its customers , bearing in mind how much the car costs thats down to the dealers rather than the low expectations often levelled at Skoda owners

Dealer experience is key for private sales and many manufacturers are getting it very worng

Sort your spelling out before shouting :P:P

amended
