I too have a petrol 1.8T Ambiente TDi first spoke to Skoda UK who said I needed to contact Type Approval for a certificate of confirmation, I've received this and it doesn't actually say RS on it (its got two codes, one for varient and one for version)

so I've phoned Skoda UK again to say that DVLA wanted a letter (as Quinten has copied on the other page) so I hope the waiting for the cert of conf wasn't a waste of time if Skoda could've sent me the letter in the first place , anyone know if the certificate of confirmation is acceptable by DVLA? (even though its their own mess up)

As long as I haven't broken any kind of forum rule, I didn't look at the date TBH, just that the thread starter had same problem I'm going through :scared: and as you put the link in my thread you are still worthy of being the winner :handshke: (I'll stop spamming now and wait for Skoda UK Customer Services to call me back)
