Wanted to get the leather treated to preserve the finish and give the car a good protection for a few months

Measured the paint thickness as well and it was a healthy 120-130

Can't deny it looks amazing....but I never quite get the detailing thing, after half a day wont it have the first layer of grime?

Its how easy that grime comes off again , a well protected car is washed every time it rains the dirt doesnt stick as hard and the finish keeps nicer for longer

I keep my cars pretty clean and in good condition , i like to have a clean car and it to look nice

It does look great, Rich and I bet it looks better "in the flesh" too. Really shiny cars are a swine to photograph effectively, as you tend to see the reflections, not the paintwork.

I do my own detailing, using Zaino stuff exclusively. It doesn't take any longer once you've got the surface right and the two-bucket system is second nature now. I only use a chamois on my van nowadays, everything I do on the car is microfibre cloth.

My neighbour thinks I've got a loose screw, but his jaw still drops at the finish I get!
