I'm Andi, and the other half is Rob, we currently have a Suzuki SX4 (mine) and a Suzuki Swift (his), but went to see an 06 Octavia 1.9 TDi 4x4 estate on Saturday. Love the cars (would love a Scout!!) love the room it will gives us (us 2, 2 kids and 2 puppies to fit in!!), the 6 speed box - which I would miss if I had to go back to 5! the layout, everything. Would love a brand new one but due to the current doom and gloom we don't want to be paying out more than we do already! I'd be going down a year (the one's we have are 07), the mileage on it is only 4000 more than on the SX4, and it already has a tow bar fitted, BONUS! We have a Dandy folding camper to tow.

Hopefully finance will be approved next week and I can go and pick it up, I will be seriously gutted if anything goes wrong now! Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
