Camping in Jasper (image heavy)

Featured Replies

A lovely long weekend spent camping up in Jasper National Park. Had lovely weather on the way up on Friday then come Monday morning we awoke to snow on the tent! Made the journey home interesting :D

All pics taken on a Fuji Finepix J150w 10.0mp.

First 3 are from the roadside on the Icefields Parkway which links Lake Louise to Jasper. 140 miles of stunning scenery

A brief stop on the way up and a short walk up through the snow to Peyto Lake, worth the effort!

she's a peach! 6 years old and still going strong :thumbup:its put up with torrential rain in Holland and Switzerland, a force 5 gale in North Wales and 4 inches of snow on its roof in Banff last year! its never leaked and is still good as new :D

thanks for all the comments guys. when we arrived here a few Brit expats said we would get bored of the scenery, i say those people have no soul :)

Excellent photos Mark - looks amazing. Would love to cover this area on my next trip out

Particularly like one of your lakeside shots, where you can see into the water too - crystal clear
