Are you running standard suspension?

Steve

Yep - fitters said it might take a short while to settle back down.

It's quite scary seeing your car sat on 4 trolley jacks, and how big the gap is between the tyre and the wing !

Stop it :o

Did you have to tell your insurance company? Just wondering if changing colour of the wheels makes it a mod or more desirable as far as insurance goes?

They look great.

A good friend said the very same thing to me.

I have a standard Fabia vRS on standard wheels, though painted in charcoal/anthracite.

Can't believe the insurance company would be interested in such a purely 'cosmetic' mod. Could the premium really increase when changing wheel colour?!!!

by the way...... wheels look great

I was planning on this mod 4 my Black Octy, IMHO they need 2 b a bit darker! look ok though!

Hence my question, it was mainly on the 'makes it more desirable to pinch'

On the current figures in the poll it wouldn't be more desirable ! :rotz:

I think painting the calipers not necessarily red, but a bright fluorescent orange might save the day. A bit more reddish than than a high visibility vest would work for me.

3 votes in it I wouldnt say is conclusive, its more a mark of everyones taste being evenly split, like I said before, as long as your happy with them, thats what counts.

White wheels would look great on a black car!

maybe if they were the same colour as the car, but i dont know seen them on blue and white and they look good, but im not to sure on that

I like them. Even though I had to use the search button to find this thread!

I voted hit mate

I like it

Cheers

Damian

It is nice but I think I prefer silver - but then you wanted opinions!

Could do with the callipers repainting to the right colour green too?

I'm not 100% convinced, but thinking minor hit rather than near miss.

Getting a real shine on those wheels and another pic taken in the right lighting conditions might just do it.

Only 2 in it now, I'd get some grey viper stripes

and a white respray to really finish it off (kidding)

Can't believe this has had over 1000 viewings, and more votes than were cast in the local European elections - maybe one of my alloys should become Prime Minister :D

Only a 10% turnout rate at the polls though - tut tut
