Chatsworth Rally show post discussion & pics

Featured Replies

Firstly I like to thank everyone who turned up this weekend despite the weather & Also Gordon Lamb especially Neil Hobson for the help & equipment lent to us. Without It we would have drowned.

It has been horrible weather, but I feel we have made best of a miserable weekend keeping the Briskoda high spirit:D

Sat was wet In the morning & It dried out In the afternoon. Sunday was the opposite, dry In the morning & wet In the afternoon.

We had a few casualies with the mud & some pics will be the posted when I have dried out & warmed up.

Roll on the show next year. Hopefully better weather (can't be any worse), but with a bigger better stand.

There was a bit of bribery. She gave them flapjacks to quiet them about the BBQ that she brought:rofl: & got to drive the buggy. We all stayed well clear:D

Sorry for not making the effort to be sociable today. Hopefully I'll get to put some names to faces at GTI International and the national meet.

First of all a big THANK YOU to oggy for organising this event , you are a true star , took some doing in all the rain .

I,ve just got back home , got stuck in the traffic on the A619 going out of the gate from Chatsworth sat there for about 30 minutes in the pouring rain , then soon as we cleared Chesterfield the sun came out all the way home .

Definatly go to the rally show next year , absolutley brilliant , just dont buy drinks / food from there take your own lol

I enjoyed organising:thumbup: & I will do It again next year, hopefully without the rain:D

Yes the food prices were ridiculous £5.50 for a box of chips & 6 nuggets:mad:.

I paid £6 for a bacon baguette :(

No I didn't luckily. I tried to stick to the green areas as much as poss & leaving today we all went down the banking & straight onto the road:thumbup:

Thanks to everyone, especially those that helped and laughed when I got stuck. And of course thanks to Lissy for dragging me out, I think I now owe Cheryl a clutch as it didnt do it many favours.

It looks like it was a great event - I'm definitely going next year! :)

It's a real shame I couldn't get down for this, but I couldn't get the time off :(

Great pictures everyone, a good turn-out of Skodas too

I bet your Fabia took some cleaning:O

Is the clutch ok on Cheryl's? It was certainly smoking:eek:

I think I have trench foot! I got up to the site stand on Sunday, but you were all about to get off (stuck). To be honest, the action was probably better to watch when it was wet. It was a bit tricky/slippy, but we didnt go off and it was fun. We finished 12th in our event, should have got into the top 10, but the driver let the car down.

I want a Stratos!
