He's what you would end up with if you crossed Jason with Kimi Raikkenen

Could you imagine the look on the Veyron drivers face tho as he gets smoked by a VW Golf. :D

Wow... it's a car that can go fast in a straight line... whoop-di-doo!

I know which one I'd have :)

Would you believe it - the site is blocked by my ISP - wallies...

Well I know which one I'd have!

He has turned a car that just isn't designed to go fast into something that is faster than a Veyron. The Veyron on the other hand although isn't quite as fast off the line as the golf has been built with speed in mind and everything about the car has been designed with going fast in mind... so you can go fast safely without the steering 'going wobbly'!

I'd be interested to see how the 50-70 times etc compare between the two as in the real world that's what really counts!

Phil

so resale values....

"no sir, it's a 29 year old Volkswagen. We'll give you £300 for it against this £10000 Vectra on our forecourt"

Having read the article in full I don't think it can even go fast in a straight line - he said when you start to go fast the steering wobbles :D

ah no - he could trade get £2000 for it against a brand new little eco box in the scrappage allowance :D

wouldnt that now make it 2300 ?

Faster to sixty and that's about it.

Having spent £60,000 surely that would make:

"My £60,050 Golf's faster than a £1m Bugatti."

Seriously though - who the f*** would spend £60,000 on a clapped out motor? Think of the cars he could have spent that money on!!!

That doesn't mean I'm against people renovate their cars - but this is ridiculous

I'm speechless.

I wouldnt spend £60k on that. I'd do it up to orig spec.

Might be a good car for a track though

It's have to be straight!!

It's have to be straight!!

.....and a 140 mph limit.......don't want to get a wobble on do we.

700 bhp from a 1.8T

Yes it is insane but we need people like him to push all the limits :D

So whose going to be beating 700bhp with there Octy Mk I VRS ???

Yeah, I've seen it run at GTI International for the last couple of years. It's quicker than Dubmeisters twin engined supercharged VR6.
