good tyres for Fabia ?

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a decent tyre for Fabia! Ive been wheel spinning in the rain lately, the ones I have are Firestone with a good tred (they are not bald before you ask) but still a bit slippery not enough grip! no rude comments please like the gear knob saga ;)

No doubt someone will be along shortly telling you to do a 'search' for previous posts on this subject.

I personally like the Yokahamas 539's that I run on,not too expensive @

Continental Sport II every time for me.....no doubt others will disgree...well I like em

I like them, good dry grip, very good in the wet. Slightly harsher tyre would be the P Zero Nero, may fav. tyre.

Goodyear Eagle F1's

Thinking of going down the Yoko route myself - although I do like the Conti's on the Octy.

I have stuck Firestone firehawks on mine to replace the shocking micheins that it came with and at the moment I cannot fault them.

does the vrs have an alloy spare ??

Nope :(

phew thought it did so worried when mine didnt :)

It is a full size steel though (why it has space saver markings on it I don't know)

Dunlop SP 200s - I got 32000 out of my fronts (had to replace them because of a bulge in the left front - clipped a curb in a small village when a HGV came around the corner  ) and I've still got the rears as supplied when new.. October 2002 - I've done just over 48000 now.. so I can definitely recommend them.
