Ross,

looks like MK will end up being my 'local' skoda garage (even though i live in wellingborough area) and I have been griping on about this in the thread about closure of Cumbo garage and others. Will you be posting details on the site about the open evening date and time? I'd like to go and check it out.

Great pics in your gallery.

I'll double check the open evening date and time and let you know.

There is Orchards in Northampton btw.

Orchards-yeah I know about them! :thumbdwn:

Plumsoul... I used to live in welli and got my car from Skoda in Towcester... they no longer have the franchise but I'm sure they still have the expertise and Skoda cannot void the warranty if you use them for servicing.. no good for warranty tho...

It just got me thinking that we've had a few comments lately about "bad" dealers /services yet no reviews saying so.
If I was going to post a bad review I'd want to do it anonymously.

Currently, if I did put a bad review up on a public forum, then the dealer might see it, identify who I was from other posts, and may treat me less favourably in future.

Peronally I'd be more inclined to post (especially bad news) if I knew there was a mechanism for doing so anonymously - is this possible?

Just for the record I'm perfectly happy with my dealer ... :)

Fair point, maybe Colin can come up with an anonymous user for those purposes?

I'd say that most dealers would be able to identify you from the work done, rough dates, any complaints etc etc anyway.

DavidY dont be so paranoid, if the truth hurt's 'So What'.

Its about time some dealers sat up and listened, Skoda UK aswell, if people make anonymous posts the complaint has no weight,

Indeed.

Credit where it's due....criticism likewise :)

I don't see the point of anonymous postings, either. IMHO, if a dealer is deserves a bad review, then the reviewer should be looking elsewhere anyway. I'm quite happy to name and shame (and if anyone from T&T reads this - you've already lost my custom).

Looks like I've found an excellent dealer, very helpful. High recommend them (this was my third visit to them)

 to Irvines in Bridgwater.

Update: QAS in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, has now been taken over by Caffyns. All other details (location, phone number, staff) seem to have stayed the same.

Station Garage nr Horsham has moved recently, heres a link to the Yell.com page with address and number. LINK

In fact, the current comment probably won't be relevant now as the site has more space and they answer the phones. Unlike Crawley Down, who are far too busy, unless you are actually giving them money. I'll add a review for them soon. Oh and why is the Milton Keynes site first in the list? Should it not be aphabetical? Or am I just being picky?

Ones in Southampton and Fareham don't seem to be on the list.

Send the adresses of them or a postcode so the dealer search on the Skoda site can bring them up to a mod so they can be added

I meant not on the Briskoda list.

So did I. it meant we could have used the Skoda site to get their addresses. But as you have given them it does not matter.

ahh panic over then eh...

They definitely were on it at one point because I wrote a review of them after my first service :D
