Dutch TT (Assen MotoGP) Reminder/Warning

Featured Replies

Race day at Assen is SATURDAY coming (27th June).

Free Practice:-

1. De Puniet

2. Rossi

3. Stoner

4. Lorenzo

Assen has Rossi's name written all over.............fingers crossed for a repeat of L1 from 2008.

There genuinely was no pun intended........I meant Assen as in very technical.

Qualifying over........ the grid ends up like this:-

1.Rossi

2. Pedrosa

3. Lorenzo

4. Stoner

5. Edwards

Stoner not happy as he went back to the pits............nothing new there!!!

good lad , had forgot ken lol.

Shocked at Pedrosa.....thought he'd had it for 09.

Dummy spitting by Stoner already

whats up with him now val?

whats up with him now val?

A bike thats wanting to throw him off on the same corner in both morning practice & qualifying. Hewas lucky to stay on

If Lorenzo sorts out T4 there'll be no stopping him. Rossi seems to have a few tweeks in mind to make up some time. Fair play to Dani for getting in behind Rossi for his quickest time.

Should be a good race tomorrow.

It was awesome to watch, but probably a brown trouser (or leathers) moment for Stoner!

Wey hey, 100 wins for the Doctor.

Casey's already talking himself out of a win at Laguna Seca too!

exellent , rossi just broke them , lap after lap consistantly , 100 wins shows why i suppose.

No complaints from me.....Rossi destroyed em

No complaints from me.....

:eek::eek::eek:

Did I detect the slightest hint of admiration there ?

Good win for Rossi, but the best race going on was for sixth place, so I'd have preferred to have seen a little more of that as a TV spectator.

Go JT - about time you put a good result in !

No......I still think he's a 'Charlie, Uniform, November, Tango', but a very quick one.

But you've got to admit, when things get hairy, it's usually Rossi who comes through on the whole ;)

Agreed on the whole, but kudos to the producer who realised that it wasn't certain what the Works Yams were up to up front in their own postcode, and at the same time that there was a major race going on behind them and actually showing it!

I watched it in Salou with about 30-40 Spaniards and i have to say the atmosphere in that Hotel was AMAZING!!!!! You ought to have seen the look we got when Pedrobot fell and my mate and I gave out a 'playful' cheer!!!

Masterful display by Rossi and by the end of the Race, we had all the Spaniards refrering to Stoner as 'Stacey Moaner'

In my experience, funny how even in other Countries, that most look at Stoner in the same light................ even with a Language barrier, we managed to make out that they think the same.........he's a whinging little tw4t :D Like i said, in my experience of course!!

:rofl:Brave guys ...in front of Spaniards

We sort of forgot where we were!!!

They were all a very good bunch of guys and girls!!!

No matter where you go though, everyone seems to be a fan of Rossi's.

They all applauded the end of the race and we sat trying to translate eachothers banter for hours after the race finished.

Yeah, Vale is one of the few non Spaniards to have a Spanish section in their fan club, who actually admit the fact in public!

He's talking about staying in MotoGP for at least another 3 years!!! I really hope this happens!!! He's scared of retiring because he knows NOTHING will give him the buzz that racing has for the past 14yrs plus. He has nothing left to prove but i would love to see him get the 123 or more wins.
